Where: Lakeside Park – 4800 Pearl St. Nacogdoches, TX 65965 Who: Kids ages 1-16 years old What: 700-800 rainbow trout will be stocked in the Lakeside Park Pond Cost: FREE Divisions: Ages 1-8, and ages 9-16 Prizes (per division): Largest Trout, Smallest Trout, Heaviest string (total of 5 fish combined), and Largest fish – any species (both divisions combined) Expected attendance: 200-500 kids and adults Other Info: Bring your own fishing gear Bring your own bait Youth must be accompanied by an adult Deep hooked fish must be kept; please do not place any dead fish back in the pond No fishing license needed during the hours the Kid Fish. However, a license will be needed to fish Lakeside Park after the event is over.
